All of us that fish from SOT kayak know that we need to take stuff with us.  One of the biggest projects we undertake is making a place for that stuff.  Traditionally, we all run to the Big Box Store and get a milk crate and go to work.  We add rod holders and tackle box space and a place for our PFD and so on.  Off we go fishing with Rods sticking up and everything in it’s place.  We then spend valuable fishing time trying to reach behind us to get some of that stuff.  YakDaddy ends that madness.   YakDaddy Slider is a simple way to have what you need and where you need it, right in front of you.

The Slider is built out of PVC with Stainless Steel hardware, making it salt water friendly.  The unique feature is its name “Slider”.  When you’re getting in or out of your boat, paddling, or fishing you want your stuff out of your way.  Just slide it up.

You need something.  Just slide it back.

Mounting is a breeze.  Two Stainless Steel bolts with Washer and Nuts are provided with your kit.  No running to the store.  Open the box drill two holes and in 30 minutes it’s on.

There many creature features like a friction lock so you can set your slider in one position and it won’t move.  You can totally remove the slider from the rails and place in your trunk so there is no packing things up, just slide it on then slide it back off. There are stops so you can’t inadvertently push your slider off its rails. There is a place to hang the lures you plan to use for the day.  The holes drilled on the side plate match a Scotty rod holder. There is space for your tackle box with a bungee cord to hold it in place.
