 Since 1977! this historic location has offered kayak and canoe rentals and sales, a full fishing tackle shop, and live bait.  The Estero River is a great place to bring your family, fish in solitude, or try out a kayak or canoe. We carry Wilderness Systems, Ocean Kayak, Heritage, Seda, Perception, Current, Necky, Old Town, and many more. This is the only location in Southwest Florida where you can really try before you buy. We carry a full line of kayaking, canoeing, and fishing accessories and the largest selection of rack systems in all of Southwest Florida including Thule and Yakima.



Capt. Pete’s is located about four blocks east of downtown Naples just off 5th Avenue (Route 41 East). When traveling east, turn right at Kelley’s Fishhouse, immediately after going over the west branch of the Gordon River. Follow our signs to the water’s edge next to the Naples Princess Cruiseship dock. When heading west, towards town, on Route 41 East, turn left at Riverpoint Drive. The Naples Princess and Capt. Pete’s signs are located to the left of this intersection. Follow the signs.

 Saladero Lodge is nestled between the luxuriant green mountains of the Piedras Blancas National Park and the turquoise waters of Costa Rica’s Golfo Dulce. Imagine starting each day with the calm waters of the Golfo Dulce as your view and the calls of howler monkeys and toucans as your soundtrack. Spend your days kayaking in the mangrove forest, snorkeling at a local coral reef or exploring the wondrous jungle by foot or horseback. An Anglers, Spear Fisherman, Snorkeling, Diving, Kayaking paradise. In this area is a town called Tarpon Springs, the Sponge Diving capital of the world. This is where the creators of Cuda Kayak and Castaway Kayaks Come From, This is where the idea for our Kayaks and Paddle Boards were born.
